Bathroom Remodel 2003
(or, 25 days without a shower...)

Before...
vinyl floor and beige tile shower.

Yuck! Ugly tile, water damage and mold!

Work began on January 12th....
Demolition of shower and "hot mopping" of shower floor to water-proof.

Bathroom floor with new concrete to level the floor (off level by 1 1/2 inches!)

The tile is finished. Now we're waiting for drywall repair,
new faucet and toilet, and shower door.

THE FINISHED BATHROOM.......

The shower door was finally installed on February 18th!

So, what's new, you ask? The tile floor, the tile inside the shower, the shower door (cross-reed glass, custom made by Century Shower Doors), and a new arch over the shower door. We installed the toilet (Kohler Memoirs) and the faucet (Price-Phister, to match the tub and shower) ourselves. We repainted the walls and cabinets  (including scraping the old paint off the walls, ceiling, and cabinets!) and stripped the hinges of all old paint.
