More Photos from our time at Chateau Marouatte

Outside, in the "back yard".

The "Pigeonaire" which once held 3000 pigeons.

Inside the Pigeonaire, photo at right by Sharon.

Outside the "moat"

The former stables, now a "banqueting hall" and apartments for the owners.

One of the salons.

Master bedroom at left, dining room off the kitchen at right.

Our friend Chris.

Bourdeilles

Possibly one of my favorite photos.

Mill house on the river.

The river. Lots of places in the region where the river has eroded the stone, both along the water and on what is now dry land.
Consequently, lots of caves in the region.
